One of the founders of the event in South Carolina where Governor Perry is set to announce his presidential candidacy says a Perry bid for the White House will “resonate.”
Red State founder Josh Trevino, who now lives in Austin and works at the conservative Texas Public Policy Foundation, sat down with me earlier this week when it was already clear that Perry would at least make his “intentions clear” on Saturday.
Trevino argues that the Texas story is a compelling argument for average Americans to support a candidate other than President Obama.
